The Waconzy legacy

Obinna Kelvin Anyanwu, known professionally as Waconzy, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, record producer, music executive, and philanthropist raised in Port Harcourt.

His musical story reaches back to a first recording in high school in 1998. He established Dv8 Media in 2008 and entered his defining breakthrough in 2010, when I Celebrate became the title track of his debut album and introduced a wider audience to his uplifting Afropop sound.

The catalog grew through Money Back Guarantee in 2013 and Waconzy: Greatest Hits in 2015, alongside collaborations with Duncan Mighty, Banky W, Faze, Naeto C, and American singer Truth Hurts. His work crosses Afropop, Afrobeats, R&B, soul, reggae, gospel, and club music.
